In partnership with the University of Victoria, Camosun College and BC Wildfire Service Research and Innovation Branch, a Wildfire Ember Simulator is being created, which is currently in the second prototype stage. Once developed, the Simulator will be used as an educational tool to demonstrate to the public what a wildfire ember shower would look like and how embers will aggregate on structures using ember simulants.
