Rosy Pussytoes is a charming little fire-resistant perennial with silvery-green leaves that last year-round and pretty pink blooms that appear from late spring to early summer. It spreads and forms a dense mat, making it a great groundcover or living mulch, and an excellent alternative to bark in the intermediate zone.
- Leaves grow to about 5 cm in height; flowers generally are about 20 cm tall but can get up to 40 cm
- Supports bees and butterflies, but deer don’t like its fuzzy leaves
- Great choice for a sunny xeriscape garden
- Extremely cold hardy
