Candytuft

(Iberis sempervirens)

Candytuft is a fire-resistant woody-based perennial valued for its abundant white spring blooms and glossy evergreen leaves. This versatile, low-growing plant is wonderful in rock gardens, along pathways, or cascading over retaining walls or raised beds. It is also an excellent groundcover for stabilizing soil on slopes and acting as a living mulch. Candytuft requires little maintenance and is a suitable choice for the intermediate zone of a FireSmart landscape.
