These communities in BC that have been recognized by FireSmart Canada as being FireSmart have shown that they are taking the steps necessary to build truly wildfire resilient communities. The communities shown below have FireSmart Community Plans, FireSmart Boards, and are working towards reducing the wildfire risk to their community, neighbourhoods, and individual homes.
